Sacraments for Adults
Communion, Reconciliation & Confirmation
Adults who were baptized Catholic but have not yet received the sacraments of 1st Communion, Reconciliation, and/or Confirmation are invited to join us for Reditus. Reditus, which means “return,” is a month-long program we offer on a quarterly basis for those looking to complete their sacraments of initiation. Each week focuses on one of the sacraments to help participants prepare to receive their sacraments or renew their understanding of them. The next Reditus session begins Tuesday, November 3rd. BECOMING CATHOLIC (OCIA)
Adults and children/youth (7-17 years old) who are unbaptized or baptized in a non-Catholic Christian church are invited to join our program on Wednesday evenings. Contact Marybeth mbpage@christthekingdenver.org in the parish office to schedule a meeting with our pastor or fill out our inquiry form through the button below.

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! Whether you are getting married here at Christ the King or outside our parish, we are here to help! To begin the marriage preparation process or to choose a date for your wedding, contact the parish office at 303-388-1643 or email Elizabeth Felix at e.felix@christthekingdenver.org.
Please note the Archdiocese of Denver requires marriage preparation 8 months or more in advance of your wedding date.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
The Sacrament of Anointing offers prayers for recovery, but primarily gives spiritual healing and the Holy Spirit’s peace and courage for the difficulties of illness or the frailty of old age. Anointing is not to be delayed for any serious illness or operation. A person who has been anointed does not need to be anointed again within the same illness. It is also important to be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation when receiving the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick (if they are able). Call the parish office if you would like to request Anointing of the Sick.
FUNERAL
Although death can be profound and often painful, we also believe that by His death and resurrection, Christ conquered death and made possible salvation for all men.
In burying the faithful, the church confirms her reverence for the great dignity of the human person created in the image and likeness of God, as well as her faith in the resurrection of the body and hope in the life of the world to come.
