Father Rocco Porter was ordained a deacon for the Archdiocese of Denver on May 31, 1996, and ordained a priest on May 31, 1997. Before that, he attended Conception Seminary College for undergrad from 1988-1991, went to St. Thomas Seminary in Denver from 1991-1993, and then received his Masters of Divinity from Mundelein Seminary in Illinois. His first assignment was at Queen of Peace in Aurora, where he served for four years. Then Father Rocco was assigned as pastor at St Peter's in Greeley from 2001 to 2011. He did campus ministry at UNC. He was then assigned to St. John XXIII in Fort Collins in 2011 and served there until 2022. Father Rocco was the pastor and did campus ministry for CSU during that time. He was assigned to Christ the King in August 2022 and is happy to serve the community here as pastor.
