Deacon Mark Najarian
Deacon
Deacon Mark lived in all four US time zones as a young man, but he and his wife have now lived in Denver for 27 years. They attended St. Ignatius Loyola for 8 years and then Good Shepherd for 16 years prior to joining Christ the King. Laura and Deacon Mark have a son, Luke (22), and a daughter, Carly (20). His education and background in engineering (environmental, transportation, and facility management) served him well, but Deacon Mark eventually gravitated towards jobs in city administration and “city-building”. After completing 25 years at the City of Denver, he retired last year. His primary hobby is cycling - road biking and gravel adventures. And, Deacon Mark and his wife both love to travel. Most notably, they organized a pilgrimage to Mexico City in 2023 with some friends from the Seminary to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. He is looking forward to meeting you all and serving the community in any way he can.
